What We Do The Dance-n-Arts Camps.....are specialty camps for ages 5 - 14 yrs. the focus of each camp is learning through doing. In each period the campers participate in creating a Broadway style musical coached and guided by professional instructors. We also offer a special CIT program for youth ages 15 - 16, who are interested in developing leadership skills and working in a pleasant artistic and performance oriented environment.
Dance.....Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Dance Fundamentals, Acro
Art......Drawing, painting, mask making, sculpturing with paper mache, set design and instrument making
Drama...Concentrating on creativity, exploring voice, language, the senses, improvisation, script work, theater games, and characterization
Musical Theatre .....Focus on developing vocal skills, breathing, timing, rhythm and projection in harmony with dance and drama
Production..... Combines all the talents and skills into a final Broadway Review style show
Recreation..... Theme days and arts related field trips, recreational swims, weather and time permiting.
Services - extended hours (AM & PM) extra, see below. - supervision at all times - juice and drink machine, - refrigeration for lunches - Microwave oven available with supervision.
Transportation The Camps are conveniently accessible by TTC. There is ample parking for Drop off and Pickup.
Drop off and arrival times, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m.
Extended Hours An extended hours program is availble from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. For an additional fee. (See Fees) The extended hours program is designed for fun and provides an enrichment to the camp day. Included are board and party games, creative movement concepts and mini competitions. There are no extended hours on the last day of each period when parents are invited to the camp presentation

Each two week period..... $500.00
Early Bird (Register before April 1),save 5%
Family & sibling discount, 2 or more children from the same family, 5% additional to early bird. Two camp periods, save an additional 5%
Extended hours..4:00 - 6;00 P.M....... $90.00 (9 days). There are no extended hours following the show on the last Friday of each camp period
Non-refundable $100.00 deposit required with early bird registration; half the balance of fees due by April 1, complete balance by June 1, 2010

Extended Hours (14 days) - $140.00 (4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

WHAT PARENTS NEED TO KNOW!?
In order for each participant to obtain the best possible experience, please note the following:
Dress: - Clean, dry dancewear is essential, daily - Ballet slippers with elastics sewn on (preferably pink for girls and black or white for boys) - Pink tights for girls, black tights or biker shorts for boys (fresh daily) - Medium and long hair must be off the face and neck; pony tail or buns - Jewelry and watches must not be worn during dance classes (we suggest you leave these and other items of value at home)
T shirt & shorts are acceptable wear when out of dance class
- If you do not have Tap shoes, hard soled dress shoes may be used as a substitute for this program, or you may be able to arrange for a rental at the studio - If you already own Jazz shoes, bring these with you for your jazz class, if not, your Ballet slippers are acceptable
Dance Bag: You should have a tote bag or knapsack - Every Day – Empty your bag of its contents then use the following check list to prepare yourself for the next day
Make sure your bag contains: - *One lunch and two snacks, two tetra packs, juice or fruit drinks (sunpac bottled fruit juices & water are available from studio vending machine @ $1.25) - Leotard, tights and 1 pair of ankle socks, fresh daily - Ballet shoes, and/or Jazz shoes, required daily - Tap shoes or hard soled dress shoes *No peanuts or peanut products are allowed in the Camp Supervised, extended hours if required, must be arranged at time of registration, Note: Late arrivals are unacceptable; for the physical well being of each dancer they must be present for the warm up at the beginning of each dance class. Participants arriving late for any class of the day, may be asked to observe the balance of that class, they may then participate in all other classes and activities.
