Why Tumbling?

Tumbling is an enrichment to the acrobatic for Today’s dancers who are required to extend the use of their bodies beyond their natural range of movement, especially in Jazz and Hip Hop dancing. Developing tumbling skills is essential for all dance students working at or above the Elementary 2 level in acrobatic dancing. Tumbling is as an enrichment, not a replacement for dance training. Ideal for those students seeking improvement in learning and incorporating gymnastic tricks, such as aerials, forward & backward hand springs and flips, into their dancing routines.
